Life is an Attitude!
Art is an expression of life.
Ideally, art as well as life should be
the greatest expression possible from us as individuals.
___ Bobbie Kilpatrick
The study of nature, contemplation of universal order and how it relates to human life, offers Bobbie Kilpatrick plenty of inspiration for creative expression. Her personal and continuing art journey began in 1972, working mostly in oils but also in acrylic, watercolor, pencil, and pen and ink. Experimenting with mixed media and subject matter is an ongoing interest.
Kilpatrick finds almost any subject interesting, especially light, mood created by light, and the underlying abstract shapes of design, in plein air as well as studio painting. She paints all sizes but prefers the larger format and has been selling in fine art galleries since 1982. Kilpatrick also explores concepts other than traditional reality. She is a prolific artist who feels both types of work fulfill her creative expression. The signature for the experimental works is with her maiden name of Dickinson. (see Dickinson page)
Kilpatrick is an award-winning artist whose work is included in many prominent individual and corporate collections such as Moody Gardens Hotel, Paine Webber, Stanley Morgan-DeanWitter, Enron Corp., and Peoples National Bank to name a few.
